Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule

Mid Shift: 3x12 hours (1 PM - 1 AM) with every other weekend required.

Job Description

An experienced Registered Nurse is needed for the Emergency Room. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care, with experience managing a variety of urgent medical situations and patient demographics.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a high-pressure environment.
• Perform triage, assessments, and follow protocols for a variety of emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members.
• Document patient interactions and care using Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in an Emergency Room setting preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC required; CPI preferred.
• NC State or compact RN license required.
• Experience with a patient ratio of 1:4.
• Experience in a community hospital is necessary.
