Backfill Contract - RN - Telemetry Unit

07:00 AM - 07:00 PM, with calls every other weekend.

Job Description

The RN will be responsible for providing nursing care in the telemetry unit, managing up to 6 patients per assignment while focusing on orthopedic and trauma-based care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient condition using telemetry equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist in wound care procedures and utilize necessary equipment such as wound vacs and CPM machines.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in Texas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Med/Surg experience is required; Telemetry or Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and TNCC certifications are a plus.
