Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will work in a community hospital setting with a focus on providing superior care to patients through skilled nursing practices in labor and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for laboring patients and assist with births.
• Manage post-delivery care of patients.
• Conduct newborn assessments and provide education to parents.
• Maintain IV therapy and phlebotomy as needed.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and vaccine administration protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery preferred.
• Active BLS certification required; ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NRP certifications preferred.
• Experience with Cerner charting system is required.
