Day shift, 4x10 hours (08:00 - 18:30). Weekend coverage required every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology. This role involves assisting in a state-of-the-art facility covering acute stroke and trauma interventions, with responsibilities including patient care in procedural environments and conscious sedation recovery.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patient care during interventional procedures and recovery.
• Conduct pressure ulcer assessments and implement prevention strategies.
• Administer moderate sedation and provide medications as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Perform vascular and neurological studies and procedures.
• Utilize and manage special equipment relevant to interventional radiology.
• Assist with PICC line management and patient education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1.5 years of Level I Trauma or 2 years of Level II Trauma experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• EKOS or similar experience preferred.
• Experience with A-line and procedural wedge pressures required.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
