Cath Lab Tech - Days - 10 Weeks

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech with a focus on interventional cardiology for a day shift position. This role requires recent experience in the Cath Lab and the ability to work in a high-volume center. The ideal candidate will have expertise in a variety of cardiac procedures and possess certifications in ACLS, BLS, and ARRT R or RCIS.

Responsibilities

• Accurate monitoring and preparation of access sites for cardiac procedures
• Room circulation, maintenance of a sterile field, and scrubbing for various procedures
• Performing EKG lead placement and utilizing vascular closure systems
• Participation in structural and interventional procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, and ASD closures
• Maintenance and operation of equipment, including GE Innova IGS and Philips systems

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab or interventional scrubbing experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT R, RCIS (preferred)
• Experience with GE Healthcare charting system
• Community hospital experience preferred

Schedule

This position is a 4x10-hour shift from 06:30 to 17:00. Call coverage is required, including weekends and holidays.
