Cath Lab Tech - Day Shift, 3x12 Hour

Day shift, 3x12 hour schedule (07:00 - 19:00). Call required on weeknights from 7 PM to 7 AM and weekends from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be able to handle both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and will demonstrate proficiency in using the necessary equipment while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Equipment setup and maintenance of sterile field during procedures.
• Recognition and interpretation of life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Perform scrub procedures and act as room circulator.
• Assist in various cardiac catheterization procedures, including PCI, PTCA, and the placement/removal of IABP.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain sterile technique.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, and CCI RCIS preferred.
• Epic experience within the last 6 months is required.
• Travel experience is preferred.
