Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Special Procedure Technologist to join our dynamic Imaging Services team. This role involves performing complex diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, including angiography and venography, utilizing specialized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional procedures, including but not limited to thoracentesis, paracentesis, biopsies, PICC line insertions, and pacemaker insertions.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging and interventional procedures.
• Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment, including Siemens Artis ZEE.
• Administer contrast media and monitor patient conditions during procedures.
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and maintain accurate record-keeping.
• Collaborate effectively within the imaging team to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology preferred.
• ARRT (R), BLS, and State license required; ARRT (VI) or (CI) preferred.
• Proficiency with Epic EHR and ChangeHealthcare PACS preferred.
• Experience in community hospital settings preferred.
