Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) or Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Charge Nurse for our NICU department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of charge nurse experience in a Level 3 or 4 NICU, with an ability to attend high-risk deliveries and oversee unit operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing, patient assignments, and oversee the daily operations of the NICU unit.
• Attend high-risk deliveries and provide leadership in critical situations.
• Conduct multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with various interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide exceptional patient and family education regarding neonatal care.
• Assist with the management of ventilators and other advanced neonatal equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of charge experience in a NICU.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Ability to float to maternity and MBU as needed.
