Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a Trauma Level I/II ICU setting and be proficient in Epic EMR. Our ICU accommodates a patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 (MedSurg ICU) and requires nurses to effectively manage various critical care drips and sedation protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, utilizing advanced critical care techniques.
• Manage titratable drips, including vasopressors, inotropes, and sedatives.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations including codes and rapid response teams.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Proven experience in managing critically ill patients with various diagnoses.
• Experience with ventilators and sedation protocols preferred.
