Night shift: 7 PM - 7 AM, with weekends, holidays, and call required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MS/Tele FLOAT RN to join our dynamic team. The position requires flexibility as you will float between Medical-Surgical units and Acute Inpatient Rehab (Ortho/Neuro).

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care to a diverse patient population with common diagnoses such as Septic, COPD, CHF, post-op, and general med-surg.
• Administer required drips and medications including Heparin drips, mag, and k riders.
• Assess patient's needs in clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual aspects.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed for both patients and staff during lifting and moving procedures.
• Actively participate in a high-stress environment and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
• May assume the role of charge nurse as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New York RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Meditech experience is required.
• Must have completed at least one successful travel assignment.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
