Schedule

Shift: 19:00 - 07:00, every other weekend. No block scheduling.

Job Description

The RN in the Medical Surgical unit will provide care to patients undergoing colorectal, bariatric, and general surgeries, along with those with GI, renal, and telemetry needs. The role involves wound care and management of diabetes and ostomies.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and implement care plans.
• Start IVs, place NG tubes, and perform Foley catheter placements.
• Provide critical thinking and precise nursing assessments.
• Ensure patient safety and effective communication with the healthcare team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a similar setting.
• Current RN license in Indiana.
• BLS Certification required.
