Nights 12 (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), with every other weekend and 1 holiday per contract if needed.

Job Description

As an ICU/Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care through the nursing process and ensure the needs of the patient, family, and multidisciplinary team are met through effective communication, coordination, and evaluation. You are expected to comply with all policies and procedures, nursing standards of practice, and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with established standards and practices.
• Float as needed to Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Evaluate patient care plans and make adjustments as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years experience in ICU; PCU experience preferred.
• Experience in Cardiac ICU is preferred.
• Current NJ nursing license or compact license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA only).
