Job Description

The Emergency Department (ED) is seeking a motivated and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This position requires strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills to handle a diverse patient population with multiple comorbidities and complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform trauma and stroke care, including laceration repair and orthopedic trauma management.
• Conduct EKGs, eye exams, and psychiatric care as identified by patient needs.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment such as U/S, IV skills, Lucas Device, and Rapid Infuser.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 2 years of Emergency Department experience for contract labor.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required for contract positions.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and EKG interpretation is preferred.
• Dependability, punctuality, and strong critical thinking skills are essential.
