Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist with a focus on NICU and PICU care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and be able to provide high-quality respiratory care for neonates and pediatric patients. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing critical patient care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and modalities to patients.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and manage neonatal transports.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
• Perform direct intubation, extubation, and airway management as necessary.
• Provide care for patients with conditions such as ARDS, ECMO, and respiratory distress syndrome.
• Draw and interpret arterial blood gases to assess patient status.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU/PICU settings.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS preferred.
• State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
