Night shift, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00) with weekend coverage every other week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse utilizes the knowledge basis of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols. The RN is responsible for responding to life-threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions and organizing care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating, and communicating with all necessary providers and leaders on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Nursing Process for patients across various age groups.
• Documents thoroughly as care is delivered, adhering to regulatory and hospital requirements.
• Assumes responsibility for clinical competencies and professional development.
• Practices in a clinical environment through the application of theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
• Maintains a professional demeanor in a busy and stressful work environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS within 12 months of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Med/Surg setting with patient ratios of 1:5-7.
