Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience. This position involves working with a mixed pediatric-adult population in a fast-paced environment. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform treatments as per physician orders.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
• Provide wound care, manage IV therapy and phlebotomy.
• Conduct assessments and develop nursing care plans.
• Support pediatric patients, including those with RSV and pneumonia.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience.
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS and CPI preferred.
• Experience with IV therapy and phlebotomy is preferred.
• Oklahoma or compact state RN license.
