Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to childbearing women and newborns in a Level 3 Perinatal center with a high-risk patient population. The ideal candidate will have experience with both routine and complex labor and delivery situations.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor and delivery process for multiple patients.
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and use EFM (External Fetal Monitoring).
• Provide neonatal care in the delivery room, including APGAR scoring and thermoregulation.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries, including C-sections and vaginal births.
• Support postpartum care and education for new mothers.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required.
• Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate (preferred), BLS, NRP.
• Preferred experience in an academic medical center or teaching hospital.
