Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. Our ideal candidate will bring at least 1 year of experience, including travel experience, and will be committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals during labor and delivery.
• Monitor patients and assess their conditions throughout the labor process.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal care for mothers and infants.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document care in compliance with hospital policies.
• Educate and support patients and families regarding childbirth and postpartum care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Iowa.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.
• At least 1 year of RN experience, preferably in Labor and Delivery.
• Must have completed a mandatory reporter certification for child and adult abuse.
• Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screening.
• Recent titers for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB within the last 12 months.
