Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) or Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) shifts with rotating schedules expected.

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Stepdown to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cardiac nursing and be able to adapt to variable shift requirements based on hospital operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a cardiac stepdown unit.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions and report findings to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
• Assist with procedures and ensure the safety and comfort of patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in a Cardiac Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit.
• Current Ohio license or Compact State License.
• AHA BLS & ACLS certifications.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification.
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation.
