Nights: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) or Days: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description

The position is for a Registered Nurse in a Cardiac Stepdown Unit, requiring strong clinical skills and experience in progressive care. The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care for patients needing cardiac monitoring and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a cardiac stepdown setting.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Cardiac Stepdown experience.
• Permanent Ohio License or Compact State License required.
• AHA BLS & ACLS certifications required.
• NIH certification required.
