Adult Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Day Shift

Day shift, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide care in a fast-paced adult freestanding Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will possess experience in adult critical care and be ready to work with diverse patient populations including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-acuity respiratory cases and support ventilator management.
• Administer medication and provide patient evaluations in critical situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in emergency response and high-risk delivery support.
• Perform arterial punctures, spirometry, and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-acuity environment.
• Current certifications in BLS and RRT required. ACLS, NRP, and PALS preferred.
• State licensure as a Respiratory Care Provider in South Carolina is required before the start date.
