3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30); every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our dynamic team in a busy freestanding emergency department. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to patients across all age groups, including adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics, in critical care and emergency settings.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor and document patient responses to therapy, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide support in high-acuity environments, including Adult ICU and stepdown care.
• Perform advanced therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
• Assist with intubation and provide airway management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in adult critical care.
• Current RRT certification and state licensure (South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider).
• Current BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, and NRP are preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
