Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) / Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The position entails working rotating shifts, including both day and night shifts. The ideal candidate will have recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and be prepared to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a telemetry setting, monitoring vital signs and ECG.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy as required.
• Assist with patient assessments and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management.
• Participate in shift handovers and coordinate with emergency response teams if necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
• 18 months permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments.
• Permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Must complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
