Weekend Hours: Every other weekend or as needed by the facility.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the CVICU will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. The nurse will work within the CVICU department, known for its specialized care in CABG, TAVR, STEMI, and carotid procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support in a critical care environment.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and manage complex patient needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1.5 years of CVICU experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• Associate Nursing Degree required.
