ICU/IMCU RN Contract Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Job Description

The ICU/IMCU RN will provide high-quality care in a critical care environment, ensuring patient safety and advocating for their needs. The nurse will collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care and ensure adherence to best practices in critical care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU/IMCU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, interpreting diagnostic tests and providing timely interventions.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Document patient care accurately in compliance with standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean patient care environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the ICU/IMCU specialty.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Holiday Expectations

MUST work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
