CT Tech - Night Shift

Location

This position is located in a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is a night shift, working 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, specifically on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with a holiday rotation required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting and be proficient in a variety of CT imaging procedures. The CT Tech will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort during examinations.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans as per physicians' orders and protocols.
• Administer contrast media when necessary, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and safety during scans.
• Provide excellent patient care, managing comfort and anxiety levels.
• Comply with radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions.
• Assist with special procedures, including biopsies and drainage as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT scanning, with at least 6 months in a Level 1 Trauma center required.
• Certifications: ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), BLS, and SC State License are required.
• Experience with Siemens equipment is preferred.
• Radiation badge must be supplied by the agency.
