CT Tech Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30), performed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with holiday rotation. On-call rotation required.

Job Description

We are seeking a CT Tech with experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will perform various CT imaging procedures, including special procedures such as biopsies and drainages, and must be proficient in using Siemens equipment and the Epic charting system. The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with patients across multiple age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on patients, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.
• Administer contrast media and take necessary precautions for radiation safety.
• Provide care to patients in trauma settings, including emergency and outpatient scenarios.
• Assist in special procedures such as biopsies and drainage with appropriate clinical protocols.
• Utilize image display and post-processing skills for optimal diagnostics.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Tech, with at least 6 months in a Level 1 Trauma setting.
• Current certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT), and SC Licensed.
• Proficient in Siemens equipment and Epic charting system; experience in Trauma and Special Procedures preferred.
