CT Tech Position – Radiology / Cardiology

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, working 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with a holiday rotation. On-call rotation is required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated CT Tech specializing in Radiology and Cardiology to join our team. The technician will handle a variety of imaging tasks in a Level I Trauma Center, working with a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily caseload per tech varies per shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on patients, ensuring high-quality imaging results.
• Administer and manage contrast media preparation.
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction.
• Conduct various specialized procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, and drainage.
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Tech, with preference for Level I Trauma experience.
• Current certifications: ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), BLS, SC License.
• Familiarity with Siemens equipment and PACS systems.
• Experience with adult outpatient settings and emergency department procedures is preferred.
