Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in PCU along with ICU experience. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction and failure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage cardiac drips and vasoactive drips.
• Assist with management of patients on BiPAP and CPAP.
• Care for ventilated patients and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).
• Provide IV therapy and manage arterial line and central line care.
• Administer medications, including continuous IV sedation.
• Implement isolation precautions and use of PPE as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience, with 2 years in PCU required.
• ACLS and BLS certification required at the time of application.
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.
• Familiarity with cardiac drips is mandatory.
