Physical Therapist - Acute Inpatient

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift with options for either 8 or 10 hours. Flexibility required for weekend coverage 2-3 days per month.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in an acute inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing a diverse caseload, including total joint replacements, CVA, CHF, COPD, and sepsis.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 8-10 patients per day.
• Provide physical therapy services to patients in the acute care setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Monitor and interpret lab values and understanding of pathologies related to treatment.
• Engage in effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Physical Therapist license in Arizona.
• Minimum of one year of experience outside clinicals.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
