IMC Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Floor

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

The IMC Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a medical/surgical unit, managing a wide range of clinical situations with competence and compassion. The nurse will be expected to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team while maintaining a patient-centered focus and adhering to best practices in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient documentation using the Epic charting system.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
• Conduct monitoring and interpretation of telemetry and vitals.
• Participate in patient assessments and care planning.
• Respond to emergencies and manage rapid response situations as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a similar specialty required.
• Current BLS certification. ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred.
• Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, and central/peripheral line care is preferred.
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and rapid response protocols.
