Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical to join our team for night shifts. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a 32-bed Med/Surg unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including starting and maintaining IVs.
• Conduct phlebotomy and central line blood draws as required.
• Perform wound care and management, including the use of wound vacs.
• Monitor and manage respiratory needs, including chest tubes and high flow nasal cannula.
• Provide postoperative care, including managing surgical drains.
• Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months nursing experience required (first-time travelers accepted).
• Registered Nurse licensure is required.
• BLS certification is required; CPI certification is preferred.
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:6.
