Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, where you will provide essential care in a fast-paced environment within a Level I Trauma Center. You will work with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, in a unit that experiences a high daily census.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a general emergency department setting.
• Monitor and manage patients with various acute conditions and injuries.
• Perform IV therapy, blood product administration, central line care, and medication management.
• Respond to critical situations effectively, including the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Participate in interdisciplinary support processes with various healthcare teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid state nursing license.
• At least 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting, with Level I trauma experience required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS.
• Experience with EPIC charting is essential.
