Night shift, 4x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15). Every third weekend coverage required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our fast-paced Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a large or high-volume similar setting, capable of managing high-risk antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care for obstetrical patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for obstetrical patients 16 weeks and greater, managing all stages of delivery.
• Circulate for C-section and perform sterile vaginal exams.
• Administer pain management and conduct pain assessments.
• Perform triage of obstetrical patients in a busy birthing care unit.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and manage cardiac monitoring for both mother and infant.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience is required; 3 years preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate (AWHONN Advanced preferred).
• Experience with a patient volume of over 300 births per month.
• Ability to float as needed within the women's unit.
