Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech with expertise in cardiac catheterization and vascular procedures. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in operating advanced imaging equipment and will be responsible for assisting the medical team during various diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of procedures, including cardiac catheterization, PCI, fistograms, and vascular angiograms.
• Scrub in for procedures using Philips x-ray machines and collaborate with the medical team in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor patient conditions and provide support in the administration of medications and other treatments as needed.
• Document procedures and patient responses accurately using GE Mac Lab and Cerner systems.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT(R) certification and New Jersey license (can be obtained prior to start).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 2-3 years of current experience in a Cath Lab with both cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Experience with PPM implants and vascular procedures.
• Neuro experience preferred.
• Familiarity with IVUS, PFR, IFR equipment is a plus.
• 1st time travelers accepted.
• Must abide by hospital policies regarding appearance (nails must be kept clean and short, and acrylic or artificial nails are not permitted).
