Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room (ER) for a night shift position at a community hospital. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency care and will provide high-quality nursing services to patients of all ages, including pediatrics and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess patient conditions and execute treatment plans based on established medical protocols.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to respond effectively to a variety of patient situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided in the EMR system (Paragon/Allscripts).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Ohio.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 2 years of ER experience preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications are preferred.
• Experience in trauma Level I or II settings is preferred.
