Schedule

Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Med Surg RN to provide high-quality nursing care to patients. The role involves general medical administration of medications and care, along with remote tele-monitoring in collaboration with a monitor tech for postoperative patient management. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in medical-surgical nursing, including tele experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical unit.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to MS Tele as needed, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:6, with a surge plan of 1:7 maximum.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2+ years of Med Surg experience required.
• 1+ year of recent travel nursing experience required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Cerner experience is preferred.
