CT Tech - Radiology / Cardiology

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12-hour schedule from 07:30 to 20:00. Call is required with one call per week.

Job Description

A skilled CT Tech is needed to perform advanced imaging procedures in a level II trauma facility. The candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality images and utilizing advanced imaging techniques such as 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurement. Experience in both adult acute care and special procedures is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans of various regions, including the abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, thoracic, and chest.
• Conduct special procedures including biopsies, drainages, and coronary CT angiography.
• Utilize image display and post-processing techniques for enhanced diagnostics.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and maintain radiation safety protocols.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required.
• Support interdisciplinary teams as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Tech in a level III trauma facility.
• ARRT certification in CT and current state licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with Epic charting system is a hard stop requirement.
