Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist with a focus on Pediatrics and a NICU background. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of relevant experience, although first-time travelers with a strong skill set may also be considered. The position includes working with neonates and pediatric patients in a critical care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory therapy to neonates and pediatric patients.
• Perform assessments, interventions, and treatment plans for patients with respiratory issues.
• Manage ventilatory support for critically ill patients, including intubation and extubation procedures.
• Utilize a variety of advanced respiratory equipment and technology.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment usage.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two years of respiratory therapy experience, preferably in a NICU or pediatric setting.
• Active RRT certification required.
• PALS and NRP certification required.
• State licensure to practice as a respiratory therapist.
• Charge experience preferred but not mandatory.
