Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Location

This position is available in a facility located in an undisclosed area of the United States.

Assignment Duration

This is a winter contract position through the holidays for a total of 20 weeks.

Schedule

The shift schedule is for nights, specifically a 3x12-hour format from 19:00 to 07:30. Every other weekend and holiday coverage is required as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory care and implementing treatment protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to patients of all ages.
• Perform assessments and monitor patient conditions.
• Utilize and manage various respiratory care equipment, such as ventilators, CPAP, and BiPAP.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory care management and treatments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
• Active CRT or RRT license, along with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Experience working in critical care settings is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage a multi-faceted patient population.
• Comfortable with floating within the specialty as needed.
