Job Description

The RN provides nursing care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process and within the framework of the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care. The RN assumes leadership responsibilities, which includes delegation of work to other levels of employees. Compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of healthcare is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-specific, direct patient care.
• Utilize the Nursing Process in providing nursing care.
• Assume leadership roles by delegating tasks to other staff members.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications required prior to the start date.
• If certifications are not active, a booked course must be scheduled during Clinical Orientation.
