Schedule / Shift

12-Hour Night Shifts, variable scheduling with self-scheduling preferences considered. Must be flexible, working every other weekend and 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day).

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Department RN to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population across all ages in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and respond to their needs effectively.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain documentation and patient records utilizing the EPIC system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, specifically in the Emergency Department.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, and TNCC (must be included in application packet).
• Experience with pediatric patients under age 5 is required.
• Experience at a teaching facility and with EPIC documentation system within the last 2 years is mandatory.
