Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), typically 1:4 ratio; 1:5 ratio in emergencies.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Step Down Registered Nurse for night shifts in an intermediate care setting. The RN will provide care in a lower acuity step-down unit, managing post-operative patients and those with cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients through telemetry and manage IVs.
• Administer medications and treatment as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Document patient progress and any changes in condition.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in a step-down or telemetry unit.
• Current RN license in WV or compact state (pending license acceptable).
• Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, with all certifications via American Heart Association.
