Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift in a healthcare facility. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care while ensuring a supportive environment for both patients and their families.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, administer medications, and monitor patient conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health-related topics and treatments.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in hospital orientation and training programs to stay updated on best practices.

Orientation and Training

New hires will undergo a 4-hour hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour shift on the floor.

Scrub Colors

• RNs: All Navy, All White, or a Combination of Navy and White
• CNAs: All Galaxy Blue
• Sitters: All Purple (CNA certificate not required)
• RTs: Medium Gray/Pewter
• LPNs: Sage Green

Kronos Instructions

Use the following instructions for clocking in and out:

• Dial 533 from a designated Kronos phone.
• On first connection, you will be prompted to record your name as per the instructions provided.
• Clock in with a 1 and clock out with a 9. For callbacks, use codes 62 (2nd or subsequent) or 64 (productive time).
• For lunch breaks, clock out with a 3 and back in with a 4.

Tobacco use is prohibited on all property, including personal vehicles in designated parking spaces.
