Job Opportunity: ICU Registered Nurse - 12H Nights

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team for a 12-hour night shift position. The role encompasses caring for critically ill patients in a high-pressure environment, with the opportunity to make a profound impact on patient care.

Shift Details

• Shift: 12-Hour Nights
• Weekends as scheduled

Unit Information

• Unit Type: Critical Care Unit
• Number of Beds: 20
• Patient Demographics:
  • 30-50% COVID-19 patients
  • 30% Cardiac patients (post-angioplasty)
  • Remaining patients include Diabetic Ketoacidosis, Sepsis, and Complicated Abdominal or Bowel Surgery
• Approximate COVID Patient Count: 36
• Floating: 98% certainty that RNs will not be pulled outside of the ICU

Qualifications

• ACLS Certification
• BLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• Active Nursing License
• No experience with Epic required

Contract Details

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks, with a possibility of shorter contracts
• Block Scheduling: Yes
• Possible Contract Hours: 36/48 or 48-hour contracts considered
• Cancellation Policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract

Additional Notes

All submissions must include a copy of the candidate's unexpired driver's license. Candidates must be willing to care for COVID patients, as approximately 50% of the cases will involve this demographic.
