Job Opportunity: Med Surg Clinical Observation Unit - 12H Night Shift

Position Details

We are seeking dedicated healthcare professionals for a rewarding opportunity in the Med Surg Clinical Observation Unit. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5 to 1:6. Please review the requirements and responsibilities below.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• Assignments end on Saturdays
• Orientation every other week on Mondays
• Must work 2-3 weekends per month based on unit needs
• Local candidates within 60 miles are not accepted

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Clinical Observation Unit
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for patients and staff
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including students and new hires

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a relevant specialty
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Previous travel experience is required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Active VA or Compact License required upon submission
• All requests for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission

Additional Information

Please note that the facility can cancel assignments up to 36 hours prior due to census fluctuations. This position is designed for a 10/6 start, and we encourage applicants to consider this when applying.
