Job Opportunity: Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (Nights)

Unit Information

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team in the Colorectal and Bariatric unit. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, focusing on delivering exceptional patient care.

Shift Information

• Shift: Nights - 12 hours (7 PM to 7 AM)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Must work at least 1 holiday per contract

Qualifications

Required Experience

• 1 year of recent experience in acute Med/Surg or Telemetry
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates

Preferred Experience

• 2 years of recent experience in acute Med/Surg or Telemetry

Licenses and Certifications

• Active New York RN License
• NIH (National Institutes of Health) Certification
• AHA BLS (American Heart Association Basic Life Support) Certification

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Charting System: EPIC
• Miscellaneous: Must be flexible according to the facility's schedule, with potential block booking (not guaranteed).
• Location Requirement: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Guaranteed Hours: Contract weeks: 91
