Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Position Details:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This is a great opportunity for first-time travelers, as no prior travel experience is required! The position will involve floating between two sister facilities: Providence Mount Carmel Hospital and Providence St. Joseph's Hospital.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care to patients in critical access settings.
• Utilize Epic for charting patient information and care plans.
• Administer treatments and medications, including Aerosol therapy and BiPAP.
• Conduct diagnostic tests such as arterial punctures and lung volume plethysmography.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain compliance documentation and participate in ongoing training modules.

Requirements:

• Must hold an active Washington state license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT.
• Prior charge experience and familiarity with Epic charting system preferred.
• Ability to float between facilities and work every other weekend.
• Experience with family maternity and OB care is preferred.
• Capable of troubleshooting high pressure alarms and weaning from mechanical ventilation.

Patient Care Details:

• Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Daily Census: Critical Access - 25 Total Staffed Beds
• Expected Ratios: 1:3

Travel Compliance:

• All submissions must include the last four digits of the Social Security Number, and requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront.
• References: Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering at least one year of experience in a comparable specialty/setting.
• Local candidates may be accepted at a lower rate, and previous staffing members must wait 3 months before reapplying.
