Job Opportunity: MS-Telemetry Nurse
Shift Details
We are seeking dedicated MS-Telemetry Nurses to join our team for Day shifts. This position requires a commitment to work 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent and consecutive experience in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry setting in a hospital or acute care facility. Knowledge of medication scanning is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Care for patients in the MS-Telemetry unit, maintaining a typical patient ratio of 1:5.
- Interpret dysrhythmias and manage patient care for conditions requiring telemetry monitoring.
- Utilize advanced clinical skills and nursing judgment to provide quality patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including isolation precautions.
Contract Information
- Contract Length: 126 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Yes, subject to facility needs.
- Must be willing to float to other campuses (Ontario, Bucyrus, and Galion) as necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent/continuous experience in MS-Tele.
- Valid state nursing license (pending licenses are not accepted).
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- Epic Experience is preferred.
- Must be willing to adhere to our no holiday RTO policy for specific holiday periods.
- Ability to float between all three campuses as required.
Additional Information
All time-off requests (RTO) must be submitted upon application and are subject to approval. Please note that no more than 7 days of RTO will be approved, and major holiday time off will not be accepted.
