Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Shift Details

Join our team as a Registered Respiratory Therapist working 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM. This contract position requires some weekend availability, with every other weekend included.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to deliver quality patient care in a Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center. 1-year experience preferred, with first-timers welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of ventilator care for both adults and pediatrics
• Perform aerosol therapy, CPAP, and BiPAP treatments
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a critical care environment
• Participate in special procedures such as intubation, extubation, and cardioversions
• Conduct interpretation of arterial blood gases and manage respiratory therapies

Job Requirements

• Valid RN License in Washington or Compact State
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certified
• Experience with Epic charting system is required
• Minimum of 1-year charge experience preferred
• Ability to float within different units of the facility

• Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Daily Census: Approximately 60 visits per day
• Customarily requires working in a team of up to 28 therapists
